3 words to describe yesterday’s training session with our team at York Racecourse.
This group of great people, who will be our seasons supervisory team, attended P.J Staffing’s preseason supervisor training covering areas such as:
➡️ Health & Safety
➡️ COSHH
➡️ Manual Handling
➡️ Cleaning processes and procedures
➡️ Team Management
➡️ Racecourse standards
➡️ plus many more….
Why? To ensure that they have the knowledge, tools and support to deliver an excellence racing season ahead, keeping to the high standards of cleaning, ensuring the racecourse is spotless and sparkling for everyone who attends, whilst supporting York Racecourse to remain as the No 1 racecourse across the UK.
This weekend, our teams will be onsite, deep cleaning the venue, in preparation for racegoers and the season opener at Dante Festival 2026 next week.
I’m proud to have been able to support the racecourse over the years, and I wouldn’t be able to deliver the standard expected without a great team behind me!
On Wednesday, Racegoers will arrive to a clean and safe environment, with a warm proper Yorkshire welcome. 🌤️🏇🙂
