We are thrilled to share some exciting news; PJ Staffing is proudly sponsoring Leeds Pride 2025 in partnership with our friends at Blayds Bar. This year promises to be one of the biggest and most meaningful celebrations yet, and we couldn’t be more honoured to play a part in it.
The Yorkshire Evening Post recently featured our story, highlighting why this partnership is so close to our hearts. For us, this is more than a sponsorship, it’s a commitment to community, inclusion, and love.
Why This Matters to Us
Our Managing Director, Paul Evans, and Blayds Bar owner, Duncan McCallum, share not only a personal connection but also a vision for making Leeds Pride an unforgettable celebration of togetherness.
“This is more than a sponsorship. It’s deeply personal.”
At PJ Staffing, inclusivity is one of our core values, and Pride gives us the chance to actively support a cause that means so much to our team, our community, and our future.
Celebrating Resilience & Community
Blayds Bar has been at the heart of Leeds’ LGBTQIA+ scene for years, and under Duncan’s leadership, it continues to grow stronger thanks to the unwavering support of the community. Pride is a time to recognise that resilience, celebrate identity, and spread love across the city.
Art With a Purpose
This year, we commissioned local LGBTQIA+ artist Jo Hartley to create a special piece titled “Togetherness With Pride”. The artwork will be showcased on stage at Blayds Yard and later auctioned, with all proceeds going to Candlelighters, a charity close to our hearts.
A Year of Recognition
Alongside this exciting sponsorship, we’re proud to share that PJ Staffing has had an incredible year:
Paul Evans was named Temporary Staffing Solutions MD of the Year 2025
We were awarded Recruitment Agency of the Year – Yorkshire
And also recognised with the Client Services Excellence Award at the UK Enterprise Awards
These achievements fuel our commitment to giving back and celebrating diversity in everything we do.
Looking Ahead
As we count down the days to Leeds Pride 2025, we want to thank every venue, performer, and volunteer who makes this weekend possible, from Queens Court and Viaduct to The New Penny, Fibre, Bridge Bar, and beyond.
Together, we’ll make Pride 2025 one to remember. And as we look toward Leeds Pride 2026 (the 20th anniversary on Lower Briggate) we’re already excited to see how the celebrations will continue to grow.
Here’s to Pride, love, and togetherness. 🏳️🌈
