Pippa Carrington - Recruitment Manager - Thoughts on 2026!

This week, thinking ahead of 2026, I asked the Pippa, Our Recruitment Manager here at P.J Staffing Ltd, what she is looking forward to this year?

"As the Recruitment Manager here, my job is to make sure the core processes and operations run like clockwork. 

 

But as we gear up for the 2026 summer season, I am reminded that recruitment is a "relationship business." Seeing familiar faces returning year after year reminds me why I’ve been in recruitment for 16 years. It’s the stories of what they did over the winter, the renewed ambition in their eyes, reconnecting with old friends and the collective "let’s do this" attitude that defines a successful season. Don’t get me wrong I am equally excited about meeting my new recruits! 

 

My goal is to make sure their first summer at PJ staffing is the one that makes them want to stay for the next sixteen. 

 

There is little that beats that first seasonal check in, when I walk out of the front doors at 05.30am to 50 gleaming faces! - that is what I am most looking forward to in 2026!" 

 

Pippa has been working with P.J Staffing Ltd for nearing 4 years in March, and has over 20 + years’ experience working directly within Catering, Hospitality and Events world and Indirectly through recruitment, so holds a wealth of experience to be support clients and candidates #fact 

 

Pippa is very much seen as the mother of our agency pool, her care and passion for ensuring our people are looked after is unquestionable, and this is one of the core reasons, we see returners back year after year which is a huge benefit to our clients, as this near enough guarantees consistently with our teams out working across Venues, and remaining a #Peoplefirst business. 

 

A personal thank you to Pippa, who has been at my side not just the last 4 years, but the 10 years prior to this! A brilliant Recruitment Manager, a great friend and I'm truly excited to see what the future brings!
