🩷 'Pink it Up weekender 2026' is returning for a 2nd Year running all in aid of Candlelighters Trust, and this year it is also Candlelighters Trust 50th Anniversary.🩷
🩷 As an overview, Candlelighters Trust, a Yorkshire based Charity, with their head office based in Leeds, support Children and Teenagers with cancer and their families with emotional, practical, and financial support across Yorkshire.
🩷 P.J Staffing Ltd started a 3-year partnership with Candlelighters in April 2025 as a Guardian supporter, raising in incredible £12,656.59 in our first year, with £7K alone raised during the ‘Pink it Up weekender’ June 2025.
🩷 We are asking Businesses & Venues if they would be able to get involved again and be part of this fun, but vitally important charity weekend, where we not only raise funds in all sorts of Pink ways, but raising vital awareness of the support that Candlelighters, truly provide to children, teenagers, and their families.
🩷 There are so may ways venues can help, whether that may be you can turn your venue Pink, raise money through provided charity buckets, a raffle draw, able to donate £1 from your’e own creation of a Pink cocktail, add a £1 donation to your restaurant bill, or provide entertainment at your venue to raise awareness and funds for this incredible cause or equally if this is not possible, donate a charity prize towards the main charity event held at the main host venue in Leeds on the Saturday and Sunday night.
🩷 Last year, we turned Leeds pink, with Leeds City Council turning the Civic buildings lights Pink, with The Queens Hotel, Leeds and first direct bank arena also lighting up Pink, and with 7 local venues getting involved, it raised a huge £7,000 over 3 days just in Leeds.
🩷 From Monday 01st to Sunday 07th June 2026, we are aiming to raise over £10K and this year, not just across Leeds, but York and Harrogate too, if you do get involved, this is what you will receive:
🩷 Local recognition through social media and the local press via P.J Staffing’s PR company. (You can check these out on our website)
🩷 Fundraising materials including:
➡️ Candlelighters T-shirts
➡️Candlelighters Banners
➡️Balloons celebrating Candlelighters 50th Anniversary
➡️Pink Fundraising buckets
➡️Leaflets and materials to providing more information on the work that Candlelighters provide.
🩷 And on top of this you become part of something incredible in the local community supporting a great cause across Yorkshire.
