The awards celebrate local businesses across York and North Yorkshire - voted for by the people who use them, not a panel of judges. That's the same principle we've built P.J Staffing on. You've got to put in what you want to get out of it, and if the people you're working with don't rate what you do, you know about it pretty quickly.
A lot of the businesses that'll be nominated are ones that we support within our sector - hospitality venues, event operators, caterers. The same people we're supplying staff to during their busiest times during summer festivals or Christmas parties and everything in-between. We've been there, done it, worn the t-shirt when it comes to race days, festivals, corporate events. So supporting the awards that recognise them just makes sense. ✨
Nominations are open now until 4th September. Two rounds of public voting run through to 28th October, with the live final on 29th October in York.
There are categories to suit every business, so If you're a business operating in the YorkMix Radio area and you're doing great work, get yourself Nominated for a chance to show your what you do . And if you're a customer of a great local business - vote for them when voting opens. Actions speak louder than words.
