We are over the moon, that P.J Staffing Ltd is Candlelighters Trust Company of the month! 🌜💞 

 

Within 3 months of chosen Candlelighters Trust as our charity of choice, the team & I have embraced: 

 

💞 Challenged myself to a 104-mile leg stretch in April! 🦵 

💞 Held a silent auction at an Art Expo! 🖼️ 

💞 Turned Leeds Pink during 'Pink it Up week' raising £7,000! 🥰 

💞 Volunteered at Total Warrior (In Humid and hot weather 🥵) 

 

Through these activities, we successfully raised over an amazing £10,000, whilst living one of the charities core values, having fun with raising awareness and funds. 

 

This generous contribution will significantly benefit families, children, and young people with cancer across Yorkshire by providing emotional, practical, and financial support. 🥰 

 

A heartfelt thank you to Candlelighters Trust for recognizing and appreciating the dedication and hard work of our team in making a positive impact over the past few months. 

 

 

We're so excited to announce that our latest Company of the Month is P.J Staffing Ltd! 🎉 

 

We’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on PJ Staffing, whose passion, creativity and drive helped power the very first Pink It Up Weekender across Leeds! They raised over £7,000 to support families affected by childhood cancer across Yorkshire and were crowned Best Pink Fundraiser for our Pink It Up competition! 💕 

 

As part of their phenomenal fundraising efforts, PJ Staffing: 

✨ Lit up some of Leeds’ most iconic buildings in pink – including The Queens Hotel, First Direct Arena and Leeds Civic Hall 

✨ Brought together a fantastic network of venues who turned their bars pink and raised funds, including: 

Blayds Bar, Bridge Bar Leeds, The New Penny, Fibre, Queens Court & Pride, Viaduct Showbar and West Riding 

✨ Rallied the Leeds community with raffles, live performances, charity buckets, silent auctions, head shaving and waxing! 

 

Through their efforts, they raised vital funds and reached thousands of people with awareness of the work Candlelighters does for children with cancer and their families. 🎗️ 

 

💬 Paul Evans, Managing Director at PJ Staffing said, "It’s has been a great pleasure to have been able to support Candlelighters flagship fundraising week, Pink it Up week with our ‘Pink it up weekender’. 

 

"With Leeds bars and venues coming together as one community to support the fundraiser, they helped make it a huge success, the atmosphere was electric and the love was just just incredible, helping our vision and goal to increase awareness to thousands of people and raising funds that will help provide emotional, practical and financial support to families across Yorkshire who have children and teenagers with cancer. 

 

"I’m so thankful for everyone involved who has made this possible. "Im delighted to confirm, we are bringing back ‘Pink it up weekender’ for 2nd year running, between Thursday 4th - 7th June 2026." 

 

As well as organising lots of fantastic fundraising, Paul and the team volunteered at this year's Total Warrior, supporting our brilliant Candlelighters warriors! 💪 Thanks to their stellar help on the day, the event organisers gave an incredible donation of £1,550 to Candlelighters, helping even more families affected by childhood cancer. 

 

We're so grateful to have the continued support of PJ Staffing as Club Candlelighters members and can't wait to see what they get up to going forwards! 💚
